When writing your guest post, please keep in mind our target audience. Our readers are mostly comprised of job-seekers, fresh college graduates and young professionals who are looking to apply for a job. As such, your content must be educational, informative, and provide useful, actionable tips that our readers can apply in their job-seeking efforts.
As a rule of thumb, we don’t typically accept guest posts that are shorter than 500 words. Because we strive to make our content as insightful as possible, we ask all our contributors to write articles that are at least 700 words long.
Make sure your blog post is well-formatted. Organizing your content correctly makes a world of difference when it comes to achieving a high degree of readability and keeping the visitor’s attention drawn to what you’re trying to convey.
Include relevant sources, where necessary. If you mention a report, study or statistics, make sure to link back to the original source where you found that information. That way, your content is more substantiated and your audience can be sure that what is presented to them is – indeed – accurate.
If you decide to include images, make sure that they are relevant, high-quality, and that you have the proper rights to use them. Please include the image source for each picture that you send to us.
Stay away from plagiarism. We have a great deal of respect for our audience and, as such, we only present original content, that hasn’t been published anywhere else before. If your content is found to be plagiarized, it will not get published and you will not be able to submit another guest post to us in the future.
