My uncle put in my application for entergy and was selected for testing. He took the CAST test and his results were RECOMMENDED. He was told that hecould check the status of his application online but nothing has changed online since it said “selected for testing” except the option to withdraw his application in no longer available (HE DOES NOT WANT TO WITHDRAW HIS APPLICATION)..I was just wondering what that could possibly mean? Is that good or bad? Is there another way to find out what is his application status is besides online? How long does it usually take before you’re contacted for an interview after getting results of recommended on the CAST test?
How long has it been since he was told his status has changed? Perhaps it’s just an issue with the updating procedure. You can try contacting the Technical Support team. A link to the contact form is available in their careers FAQ page, http://www.entergy.com/careers/careersfaq.aspx. As far as waiting time goes, that’s really hard to say if they haven’t given you a date. Depending on the number of candidates, it can take weeks before you are contacted.
What’s a pre-screen job status? I have never seen it. I’ve always seen “processing”
It’s probably similar to processing but they just use a different term. Most likely your job application has not been reviewed by someone from the HR department yet.
